Description
Noodle Doodle Box tells the story of two eccentric and lonely creatures, Borsó and Adalberta, who live inside a huge, empty box and are constantly fighting over their own territory. The fairy tale shows how initial hostility and selfishness can gradually give way to a genuine friendship based on mutual support. Its central message is that sharing and cooperation make life happier, while selfishness and isolation lead to loneliness.
The play’s playful absurdity makes it unique within its genre. Although its mode of performance may seem simple, its theatrical language takes the form of seemingly light-hearted children’s play, making it perhaps more accessible to young audiences while presenting the fundamental rules of living together.
The line drawn by the characters inside the box symbolises the prejudices and rigid boundaries that exist in real life. The story shows that these walls only serve to separate us, but if we are brave enough to reach out to one another, the boundaries disappear, and together we can overcome any problem.
